South Sudan hailed the launch of 4G internet services by Zain telecom services, the first ever 4G internet service that will boost connectivity in the country that previously depended on 3G bandwidth.
The government will ensure the security of all mobile operators to ensure better internet service in the country.
Khalid Abdalla, managing director of Zain South Sudan, said they are committed to providing the highest quality customer experience.
"We are excited to further improve the network in South Sudan. The high bandwidth of 4G Internet places South Sudan among the countries offering advanced mobile data services," said Mr. Abdalla.
Abdalla revealed that they will work closely with government institutions to deploy 4G internet services.
He added that Zain is eager to migrate its customers to the latest digital technology, with 4G also intended to enhance the mobile experience of 3G services by adding additional network capacity.
