MTN GlobalConnect announced it has joined MEF, global industry association of network, cloud, and technology providers who collaborate to drive network transformation to power the digital economy, to standardise and certify its connectivity services to enable interoperability and automation.

MEF’s standards, APIs, and certifications enable assured security and automated network transformation. MEF membership will advance MTN GlobalConnect’s visibility into relevant technical industry standards and developments. MTN GlobalConnect is pursuing all the necessary technology certifications to strengthen the team benefiting from and accessing MEF services and certifications.
The combination of certified MEF 3.0 Carrier Ethernet (CE) services and MEF 3.0 Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) Sonata APIs will help MTN GlobalConnect streamline the automation of processes (quoting, ordering, provisioning and similar activities) between the company and partnering customers.
