Etisalat Egypt by e& signed an agreement with Solariz Egypt, a leading company in solar energy production, with the aim of converting the mobile towers in Egypt to work with solar power towers. This comes within Etisalat Egypt’s strategy to utilize the latest technologies that adopt clean and renewable energy, paving the way for a clean, sustainable future.
This agreement is also part of an ambitious plan adopted by Etisalat Egypt by e& to transfer mobile phone stations to work with clean renewable energy, which falls within the efforts of the Egyptian state to protect the environment and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources and is compatible with what Solariz Egypt offers of services and products to ensure a clean, renewable card.
Moreover, this partnership requires Solariz Egypt to handle the solar power construction costs of Etisalat Egypt, ensuring that clean energy will reach the mobile phone stations of Etisalat Egypt. In this context, Eng. Hazem Metwally, CEO of Etisalat Egypt, noted that the agreement accords with the company's efforts to expand the dependence of stations on clean energy to protect the environment and maximize the benefit of the company's resources.
This initiative comes with the signing of the agreement with Solariz Egypt associated with the Conference on Climate Change (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh.
