In a groundbreaking announcement, Ethio Telecom has officially launched its Voiceover LTE (VoLTE) service for 4G/5G users.

This innovative service is set to redefine the communication experience for customers, allowing them to enjoy high-quality HD video and voice calls while seamlessly accessing the internet and making phone calls simultaneously.

With the introduction of VoLTE, users can now engage in crystal-clear video and voice conversations, ensuring an enhanced and immersive communication experience. This service not only boosts the quality of calls but also facilitates multitasking, allowing users to browse the internet and make phone calls without any interruptions.

In addition to the VoLTE service, Ethio Telecom has unveiled the official launch of its Rich Communication Service (RCS) and Rich Business Message (RBM). This feature-rich offering provides users with unlimited capabilities for sharing videos, photos, emojis, voice messages, and addresses (location). The RCS/RBM service is poised to transform messaging into a dynamic and interactive experience, bringing a new level of expression and communication to users.

Ethio Telecom is taking communication a step further with the introduction of a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). This service empowers users to send video, voice, and extended text messages without requiring an internet connection. This enhancement is expected to make multimedia sharing more accessible and convenient for a broader user base.

Furthermore, the Voice Mail Service (VMS) is another significant addition to Ethio Telecom's suite of services. With VMS, customers can receive voicemail messages from callers when they are unavailable to answer a call. This feature ensures that important messages are not missed, providing a seamless communication experience for users on the go.

Ethio Telecom expressed its dedication to realizing a "Digital Ethiopia" by offering digital lifestyle services that enhance convenience and improve the daily lives of its valued customers. These new services mark a significant stride towards achieving this goal, ensuring that Ethiopians have access to cutting-edge communication technologies that meet the demands of the modern digital era.
