Benya Group, a prominent provider of digital transformation and integrated solutions in Egypt and the MEA region, has signed a Term Sheet Agreement with Khazna Data Centers to establish Egypt’s first hyper-scale data center. The project will also see the participation of Maadi Technology Park in a trilateral Understanding Agreement. The new data center will be designed to the highest international standards for hyper-scale data centers, with an initial capacity of 25 megawatts and plans for expansion to 50 megawatts. The facility will offer services such as cloud computing, colocation and managed hosting and be located in Maadi Technology Park, with a total investment of US$250 million.
This new data center will mark a significant milestone and major investment for Benya, showcasing its commitment to providing world-class digital infrastructure to businesses and organizations in the region. As the first hyper-scale data center in the region, this cutting-edge project represents a new era in the advancement of Egypt's digital infrastructure. It will feature advanced security measures, redundant power and cooling systems, state-of-the-art monitoring and management tools and will be designed with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind.
